Kapuso stars grace Dinagyang Festival
MA stars troop to Iloilo this weekend to join Dinagyang festival.
Starting today, the Kapuso contingent will be at the Ledesma Wing Carpark of Robinson’s Place Iloilo for the Kapuso Fiesta Mall Show featuring Regine Velasquez with Dingdong Dantes.
Regine and Dingdong banner the upcoming GMA romantic-comedy I Heart You Pare.
“We are really very excited, coz we have the lead stars of our upcoming major program coming in full force to promote and at the same time, personally invite all of our Kapuso to support our shows and programs. It’s a great start for the year,” said Jocelyn Bautista, program manager of Entertainment TV for Regional ETV.
This is one treat that Ilonggos must-not miss as Regine and Dingdong share the stage for the Dinagyang and invite everybody to watch out for the premier of I Heart You Pare.
Tomorrow, Jan. 22, it’s the cast of Dwarfina that will be in town for Kapuso activities. Heart Evangelista will lead the line-up of GMA stars. Joining her are Dennis Trillo, Vaness del Moral, and Will Devaughn. They will be present for the Kapuso Fiesta Mall Show at the Event Centre of SM City Iloilo.
“Every year, we bring our artists in the regions as part of our commitment to bring entertainment and quality programs. And our Kapuso can only expect more surprises that GMA has prepared and planned for them this year,” Oliver Amoroso, AVP for marketing and sales, RTV-IMS Regional.
On-ground activities will start at 12 noon with a special screening of Dwarfina. Fans and audience who missed the pilot week of GMA’s newest fantaserye will now get the chance to view it on Saturday.

Kapuso Sinulog Weekend today
CEBU, Philippines - GMA Network brings its bevy of stars to the Queen City of the South to join all Cebuanos in the most-awaited festivity of the province – the Sinulog Festival.
Starting this Friday, Jan. 14, the Kapuso contingent will be at The Terraces in Ayala Center Cebu, for the Sinulog Festival Kapuso Night.
No less than Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez will be there to entertain the audience and invite them to watch out for the upcoming television premiere of “I YYOU PARE,” one of GMA’s primetime bet for the first quarter of the year.
“I YOU PARE” – an original GMA romantic comedy series – marks another milestone in the local entertainment scene as it brings to fore the team-up of Regine with the Ultimate Dramatic Leading Man, Dingdong Dantes. Joining Regine is the cast of Alakdana, led by 17-year-old Louise delos Reyes, StarStruck IV Heartthrob Paulo Avelino, and newcomer Alden Richards.
Louise got her big break as one of the Teen Royalties in GMA Network’s Sunday afternoon show, “Reel Love presents Tween Hearts.” She is also part of “Party Pilipinas” Sayaw Kabataan Crew. And now, she marks her first lead role via the afternoon soap of the network for the first quarter of 2011, the original drama series “Alakdana.”
On-ground activities will start at 3PM with a special screening of “Dwarfina.” Fans and audience who missed the pilot week of GMA’s newest fantaserye will now get the chance to view it this Friday. Local GMA personalities’ Yurri and Anna Maris Igpit will host the Kapuso Night, with the main show set to start at 6PM.
