Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno today swore in Danilo Leyble as the new Antipolo City mayor.
The simple oathtaking rite at the Department of Interior and Local Government's main office in Quezon City was witnessed by DILG and Antipolo local government officials.
Leyble will take over the vacancy left by the late Antipolo Mayor Vic Sumulong who recently died due to a lingering illness.
Also sworn in was Antipolo City Councilor Lorenzo Zapanta, who will replace Leyble as Vice Mayor.
